Visual Arts Guide (Teacher)

The role of all Guides at High Trees Primary is to nurture the development of the whole child - social, emotional and academic growth. All Guides are responsible for fostering an emotional connection with children and families by developing collaborative partnerships to enhance inclusion, wellbeing and learning. The Visual Arts Guide is responsible for the planning, delivery and assessment of a creative and innovative Visual Arts program that is intentional and responsive, allowing for children to have an authentic voice and choice in their learning whilst aligning to the Australian Curriculum and High Trees Primary’s philosophy. The Visual Arts Guide is expected to work independently and collaboratively, actively contribute to a joyful team culture and be a positive role model within the community.

Play Therapist

The role of all Team members at High Trees Primary is to nurture the development of the whole child - social, emotional and academic growth. All Team members are responsible for fostering an emotional connection with children and families by developing collaborative partnerships to enhance inclusion, wellbeing and learning. The Play Therapist position is responsible for the development and delivery of a play therapy program whilst aligning High Trees Primary’s philosophy. The Play Therapist will work closely with all Team members, families and other Allied Health professionals to support children’s learning and wellbeing needs. The Play Therapist is expected to work independently and collaboratively, actively contribute to a joyful team culture and be a positive role model within the community.

The Wellbeing Guide will have the capacity and vision to develop an effective wellbeing program and lead its implementation aligned to High Trees Primary’s philosophy, vision and values. This role will contribute to the development of policies and practices relating to children, family and team wellbeing. The Wellbeing Guide will work closely with Group Guides, families and Allied Health professionals to support children’s learning and wellbeing needs.
